Laser Hair Reduction
At Aloha Med Spa, we offer the latest in laser hair removal technology with our state-of-the-art Splendor X laser. This device is considered the gold standard for painless hair removal and is safe for all skin tones. The large spot size of the Splendor X allows us to perform fast treatments even for large areas, making the process more efficient for our clients.
Laser hair removal is a popular cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated light beams (laser) to remove unwanted hair from various parts of the body.
Our Splendor X laser also features BlendX technology, which allows for the bilateral laser emission of Nd: YAG (1064nm) and Alexandrite (755nm) wavelengths. By using both wavelengths simultaneously, we can safely treat all skin tones from I-VI without any risk of burning or hypopigmentation.
To achieve the best results, we recommend a series of six treatments and depending on the area, spaced anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks apart, followed by an annual touch-up thereafter. With the Splendor X laser, you can achieve smooth, hair-free skin without any pain or discomfort.
Laser hair removal can benefit a wide range of individuals looking for long-term solutions to unwanted hair. Here are some specific groups who can particularly benefit from this treatment:
People with Light Skin and Dark Hair:
- Laser hair removal is most effective on individuals with a significant contrast between their skin color and hair color, particularly those with light skin and dark hair. The laser targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair, making this combination ideal for optimal results.
Individuals Seeking Long-Term Hair Reduction:
- Those who are tired of the frequent maintenance required with shaving, waxing, or plucking and are looking for a more permanent solution.
People Prone to Ingrown Hairs:
- Individuals who suffer from ingrown hairs, particularly in areas like the bikini line, underarms, or face. Laser hair removal can reduce the incidence of ingrown hairs by targeting the hair follicle directly.
Athletes and Active Individuals:
- Athletes, swimmers, and bodybuilders who require smooth skin for performance or aesthetic reasons can benefit from the long-lasting effects of laser hair removal.
- Individuals with Sensitive Skin:
- People who experience skin irritation, razor burns, or allergic reactions to waxing and shaving products may find laser hair removal to be a gentler alternative.
