Virtue (Microneedling with Radio Frequency)

The Virtue device combines customizable microneedling with RF energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production in the dermis, providing a more smooth and more youthful appearance from the inside out. We recommend a series of 3-5 sessions for best results, topical lidocaine cream is utilized to numb the skin and make this a comfortable 30-45 min procedure. For the absolute best results Virtue RF can be combined with the CoolPeel fractional CO2 laser for a comprehensive all in one trearment which treats all skin layers at the same visit.

How It Works

Microneedling works by applying sterile microneedles deep into the dermis of the skin. These needles

Create microscopic channels deep within the dermis to stimulate the natural production of collagen and
Deliver radio-frequency heat energy at the desired depths to promote remodeling of collagen and elastin that tightens and lifts the skin.

Recommendations

We recommend a series of three to four treatments, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. To maintain results, a treatment every six months is recommended.

Post Care Treatment

One of the key benefits of a Virtue treatment is that there is no social downtime. The skin may appear red for a few hours but the exclusive post-care regimen works to sooth the skin so most will only notice a post-treatment tightening and glow to their skin. Your provider may recommend no make-up for 24hrs and of course, its always important to use sun protection.

Contraindications

Allergy to botulinum toxin A include the following conditions:

Disorder of the peripheral nerves that cause movement
Myasthenia gravis
Progressive muscle weakness with carcinoma
Condition where one object appears as two or more objects
Double vision
Blurred vision
Food poisoning
Drooping of the upper eyelid
Infection of lung from inhaling stomach contents
Decreased lung function
Voice disorder
Hoarseness
Difficulty speaking
Trouble breathing
Difficulty swallowing
Problems with bladder control

What to Expect

A benefit of RF Microneedling is that the collagen you build is your own so results are natural, immediate and will continue to improve with time. It can take up to 4-6 weeks until the full benefits are apparent
